Fueling Your Bus

The things to remember when fueling your bus

  1. Make sure you have your fuel pin

  2. Know the type of fuel your bus takes (If unsure use chart below for reference)

  3. Buses should be fueled at the end of your day when all of your charters are complete. If circumstances (such as running our of hours ) prohibit you from fueling you must notify dispatch so that it can be taken care of .

  4. If you are out of town there is a chance you may need to fuel your bus, and you may need to locate a Pacific Pride. Use the link below to locate a Pacific Pride in your area.

  5. With all buses note the gallons and miles on your DVIR Sheet you are using for the day

A Quick Note On DEF: Putting DEF in the motor coaches that require it is handled in the yard. If a DEF warning light comes on while driving the buses that require it, please notify dispatch about the issue to get further information.

A Quick Note on Fueling Motor Coaches : Fuel for Motor Coaches should be put in on the passengers side unless otherwise noted
